Brooklyn my habitat, the place where it happen at...

Last summer while I was in NY I got the opportunity to meet some urban hipsters from Brooklyn. All young, all women and all go getters. They single-handedly started their own businesses, they style for magazines, they work behind the scenes at the biggest shows and some even go home to be mothers. But most importantly they knew all the cute rappers and all the best local food places. But cupcakes and TI aside I met this one girl. Towana. She is the owner of Brooklyn based company To'sha handbags and accessories. They are really fun bags with a mix of colourful hand knitted silks and leather with satin lining. Beauty is always in the detail so we like these bags even more. Yessir. They come in nice larger sizes for women who put more than their cellphones and lip colour in a bag. Great for the summer and current hot property as she is the 2011 recipient of The Fashion Group International's accessories rising star award. Go get your fun on with these bags for spring 2011.

I dig Abraham Will and refrigerator magnets.

I really like Le 66 Downtown on the Champs Elysees. It also is the only place I like to shop on that street, otherwise the Champs Elysees was created just to trap tourists. Trust me I should know. It is one of the first places I visited as a young chippy 4 years ago. But back to Le66, I love this store because it has a really young, hip collection. It may seem a bit crowded as they stock a lot of brands and a sizeable portion of the pieces are pricey but if you really look for a gem you will find it here. The coolest part of Le66 is a completely exclusive store selling Abraham Will. This mark has the most comfortable clothing and the silks are always cut in a way that can only be described as sexilicious! Today I wore a white silk shirt from Abraham Will. This is how I wore it...

Bag Lady.

Periwinkle is a soft whisper in the streets of Mumbai. A line of bags started by Poornima Menon which captures just the right amount of the indian spirit. I first saw Poornima's bags when my friend's grandmum purchased one. A simple clutch, classy yet very understated. Now don't get me wrong, I love me some loud accessories but when it comes to indian fabrics and prints you have to be careful because it is very easy to step over to the bad side. Luckily for us we need not pay any attention as Poornima will do it for us:)
